more life drawing wat a surprise

Okai so life drawing this week....seems like i did well having my work used as an example...however there was some much better work than mine. Newho on to porportion...its just one of those things kinda like perspective that is quite frustrating and hard to get right. i myself tend to draw legs quite a bit shorter compared to the rest of the body.. after reading up through www.fineart.sk and looking into the andrew loomis books (highly recommened read) i found some very simple steps to keeping porportions well in porportion really..

very basically u can draw a line and divide it into 4 equal sections...and very simply find the points the head, shoulders, naval(bellybutton),crotch and the bottom of the knees are situated at. from there you can make adjustments to the models acual porportions by lengthening legs, widening waist and what not.
